Do you do general maintenance and repair?
We specialize in performance and track-focused builds, but we do offer general maintenance and repairs for high-performance vehicles. If you have a track car or a performance-oriented build that needs service, feel free to contact us to discuss your specific needs.
Do you do your corner balancing and alignments in-house?
Yes, we do all our corner balancing and alignments in-house, using our Hunter Hawkeye alignment machine. We work closely with each customer to tailor the setup to their specific driving needs, whether it's for the street, track, or competitive racing. Our goal is to ensure optimal handling and performance based on your unique requirements.
Do you offer lifetime alignments?
We do not offer lifetime alignments, as alignment needs can vary based on driving conditions, vehicle modifications, and wear over time. Our alignments are performed with precision to meet your specific setup requirements at the time of service.
Can you align lowered vehicles?
If there’s a gap between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender, we can likely align it. Our alignment machine attaches to the tires, not the wheels, so there needs to be enough clearance to roll them forward. If you're unsure, feel free to include a photo of your car when requesting an appointment.
Do you offer dyno tuning services?
While we don’t provide in-house dyno tuning, we can recommend trusted partners for your tuning needs.
Do you do walnut blasting?
We do not offer walnut blasting services.
I have a question about your hood louvers.
We are NOT affiliated with Trackspec Motorsports. While we are authorized dealers and installers of their products, we are not involved in their design, manufacturing, or online sales. Trackspec Motorsports is based in Southern California.
Do you use a road force tire balancer?
No, we use Hunter Smartweight Touch Balancer.
Do you do body work & paint?
We do not offer bodywork or paint services in-house. However, for the makes and models we specialize in, we handle the disassembly and reassembly, while the bodywork and paint are entrusted to a reputable, trusted body shop nearby.
Do you service SUVs/Trucks/Vans?
No, we do not service SUVs, trucks, and vans.
Do you service American makes & models?
Not typically. We can do basic maintenance and track prep, like alignments, corner balancing, tire installations, but we do not specialize in American makes & models.
I recently purchased (or am considering purchasing) a car, and its Carfax report shows it was serviced at your shop. Can you provide any details about the work performed?
For privacy reasons, we do not share service history details of vehicles we've worked on. We recommend reaching out to the previous owner for any records. However, if you need general information about our services or typical modifications, we'd be happy to help.
Pricing
Do you price match?
We do not offer price matching. Our pricing reflects the unique expertise, quality of service, and specialized resources required to meet the high standards we uphold at Trackspec Autosports. We focus on delivering exceptional value tailored to each project, independent of other shops’ business models or pricing structures.
Do you charge for diagnostics?
We charge for diagnostics because it involves more than just reading error codes. Our skilled technicians conduct a thorough inspection using specialized equipment to accurately identify the root cause of the issue. This process takes time, expertise, and resources to ensure precise results, ultimately saving you money by addressing the problem correctly the first time.
Do you honor estimates from a year ago?
Our estimates are valid for seven days.
Appointments
Do you accept walk-ins?
To provide the best service possible, we work by appointment only. Let us know how we can help, and we'll gladly schedule a time for you.
What if I'm late to my appointment?
If you’re more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to proceed with your appointment, depending on our schedule for the day. If you think you'll be running behind, it's always best to give us a call and let us know.
Can I drop off or pick up my car outside of your normal business hour?
Yes, we're happy to accommodate off-hours pickup and drop-off. Just contact us in advance to make the necessary arrangements.
Can I wait at the shop during my appointment?
Yes, we have a comfortable lobby where you can wait for services that typically take less than a day. Just a heads-up—our team takes short breaks throughout the day and a one-hour lunch in the afternoon to keep things running smoothly.
