On December 27, Trackspec team, customers, and friends went to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for another fun trackday with SpeedSF.
This was the first time Jon entered the SpeedSF challenge. In his rising blue metallic Golf R, he achieved his personal best and won first place in his class (Flat Out Fast) with a time of 1:44.18. Andrew, not too far behind him with 1:45 in his Evo 9, received 2nd place in the same class. Our customer, Jeff, received 1st place in his class (Pretty & Fast) with a 1:46 in his Lotus Elise.
Nick, in his GTI, was cutting off seconds each session. Sam in his S4 had a great time as usual, with no hiccups this time. Marc in his imola red E46 M3 unfortunately did not pass sound and was done for the day after his second black flag, even after lifting and driving far from the sound booth :/ Eric in his black E46 M3 was getting good times as well, and also had fun in the autocross section. Also ran into our other customer, Harry, with his beautiful Lotus Exige.
